OTM Groundscare Ltd is a grass roots business set up by two brothers with a passion for the outdoors and their environment. As teenagers, Tim and Ollie Metcalfe had a keen interest in the outdoors, agriculture and the living landscape. They both worked in agriculture and amenity jobs, where they gained invaluable experiences and a passion for their later careers. They began as a small business in 2005, carrying out garden and mowing services for local residents. Whilst the business was in its early stages, they attended College to study Arboriculture & Forestry and a Horticultural course. The skills and knowledge acquired became essential for the business operation today.

As the demand increased locally for their services, they employed a school friend to help them - he still works for them today as a team leader. The business now boasts a fleet of vehicles, equipment and machinery, and employs a team of 30, with a range of skills and experience. 

The years have seen this family run business flourish and bloom into the company which it is today. OTM Groundscare ltd now has contracts with Powys County Council, Balfour Beatty, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Natural Resources Wales, Housing management businesses, local churches and primary schools, along with a wider range of domestic and smaller business customers.
